The effects of cardiopulmonary physiotherapy on the quality of life of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease are analyzed, considering the relevance of this intervention in disease management. The objective is to evaluate the influence of these approaches on functional capacity, respiratory symptoms, and psychosocial aspects of patients. This is an integrative literature review with qualitative and quantitative approaches, based on the PICO strategy. The search was conducted in scientific databases from 2021 to 2026, identifying 22 studies, of which 10 were selected after applying eligibility criteria. The results show significant improvement in functional capacity, increased exercise tolerance, reduction of dyspnea, and enhancement of quality of life. A reduction in exacerbations, hospitalizations, and disease-related costs is also observed, in addition to greater effectiveness of combined interventions. It is concluded that cardiopulmonary physiotherapy promotes consistent and multidimensional positive impacts, being essencial in the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and contributing to improved quality of life.
