Introduction: Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory pathology of uncertain etiology that severely compromises patients' quality of life and functionality (FEBRASGO, 2021). Given the limitations of clinical therapies, excisional laparoscopy emerges as the gold standard for restoring anatomy and mitigating nociplastic pain—a phenomenon resulting from the amplification of central nociceptive pathways that may persist independently of the removal of peripheral lesions (MANU et al., 2025). The use of validated instruments, such as the EHP-30, is essential to measure the efficacy and sustainability of these surgical benefits in a standardized manner (GUO et al., 2025). Objective: To evaluate the multidimensional impact and sustainability of surgical treatment on the quality of life of women with endometriosis, using validated instruments to measure functional recovery and pain relief. Methodology: A qualitative integrative review conducted between July and October 2025 across the Medline/PubMed, SciELO, and LILACS databases, utilizing the PICO strategy and the descriptors "Endometriosis," "Quality of Life," and "Surgery." Full-text articles published between 2020 and 2025 in Portuguese, English, and Spanish were included. After screening, the final sample consisted of 19 studies, whose data were analyzed descriptively. Results/Discussion: Surgical intervention, especially excisional laparoscopy, demonstrated significant improvement in quality of life (QoL), surpassing isolated clinical treatment in biopsychosocial well-being outcomes. Benefits are more pronounced in deep endometriosis (DIE) and can be sustained for over a decade; however, multidisciplinary support is required. Studies suggest that complete excision of lesions is the determining factor for therapeutic success, with assessment via validated instruments such as the Endometriosis Health Profile-30 (EHP-30) being an essential index for clinical planning and measuring patients' functional and sexual recovery. Conclusion: Excisional videolaparoscopy restores quality of life but requires interdisciplinary care and psychophysical support for the comprehensive management of chronic pain and global recovery.
