Public policies and rights of students with allergies to cow's milk powder in the municipality of São Luís

Introduction: The central theme of this research is cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA), focusing on public policies and the rights of students with CMPA allergy in the municipality of São Luís. Objective: To contribute to guaranteeing the right of early childhood education students with cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) to have adequate and specific nutrition tailored to their needs in the school environment. Materials and Methods: his is a narrative literature review with a qualitative approach, whose texts were selected from databases and online platforms such as Scielo, Bireme, PubMed, websites of the Ministry of Health and Education, periodicals, Google Scholar, among others, and which provided theoretical support to conceptualize the topic and develop the informative booklet. Findings: Highlight the main results achieved in the article. Use numbers and statistics, if possible, to make the results more concrete. Scientific Contribution: Scientific literature has provided a basis for discussion on the topic, as well as enabling the development of informative material about specific diets for children with lactose intolerance in the school environment. Conclusion: With the creation of this educational booklet on the topic of CMPA (Cow's Milk Protein Allergy), parents and teachers can access accurate and reliable information on the subject and their rights within public policies, which will bring health benefits to children with lactose intolerance.
